Once you approve, we pull the permit with your local building department. On install day, we mount the inlet, wire it to your panel, and install the interlock — your power stays on during the entire install. After the work is done, it gets inspected for safety and code compliance.
A permit means a third-party inspector verifies the work is safe and meets electrical code. Without one, there's no guarantee the install was done correctly — which can create fire hazards, void your homeowner's insurance, and cause problems when you sell your home. Every job we do is permitted and inspected. It's not optional for us.
